Executive Board

In order to maintain our non-profit status, all of the core PSG positions need to be filled. Please see the positions available below for this coming school year. We are also in need of volunteers to help with the many exciting social and fundraising events we have planned for this year. PSG volunteer opportunities can be big or small, and any contribution benefits the school and your children. Please contact us at info@mdspsg.org if you would like to be involved!

President:
The President organizes board meetings, prepares agendas, acts as the liaison between MDS administration and the PSG, runs the meetings and maintains contact with various board members to ensure all projects are on track.

Vice-President:
The Vice-President supports the President, as needed.

Secretary:
The Secretary takes the minutes at the meetings and distributes them to the board members.

Treasurer:
The Treasurer maintains financial records for the PSG, makes deposits, writes checks and maintains the budget.

Fundraising Officer:
The Fundraising Officer is in charge of all fundraising activities, including the weekly Pizza Lunch fundraiser, the Spring Fling Auction, and the Carnival.

Class Parent Representative for  Toddler Class:
Class Parent Representatives for  Pre-School Class:
Class Parent Representatives for  Pre-School Class:
Class Parent Representatives for  Elementary Class:

The classroom parents are the liaisons between the PSG and each class’s parents. They coordinate volunteer opportunities for classroom activities, such as gardening, listeners for readers, field trip drivers, etc. They email their class’s parents with information on upcoming monthly events at the school. They also assist teachers with the Scholastic book orders.

In addition to the core PSG roles listed above, there is a need for other parents to be involved in some of our year’s larger fundraising efforts such as the MDS PSG Picnic, Spring Fling Auction Fundraiser and the Carnival. Please join us at any of our upcoming PSG meetings. Meeting times and locations are emailed to all MDS families the preceding week.
